Tedtrip presents its method for experiential tourism at Bio in Sicily 2020.
TEDTRIP was the protagonist of the “Bio in Sicilia” event held in Bagheria in the wonderful Villa Palagonia, presenting its Workshop through the intervention of Matteo Fici. Among the various activities foreseen by the event, the two dedicated workshops were of great appeal, the first titled: “How to enhance rural areas – Experimental tourism, methods and experiences” and the second titled “How to communicate the tourist activity of rural areas” .
The portrait room, full of charm and history, was used for the meetings. The lessons were challenged by speakers who come from work activities, with regional and national experiences, a good choice, considering that the experiences gained in the field were materially told. Practical experiences, full of anecdotes, stories, testimonies made the workshops really interesting. There were twenty participants, a number required by the Covid 19 rules.
The speeches were held by the writer and journalist Mario Liberto, Giovanna Gebbia, expert in rural tourism, Pierfilippo Spoto, the highly anticipated speech by the president of the E.A.R.T.H Academy Fausto Fagioli, “Guru” of rural tourism.
“How to communicate the tourist activity of rural areas” was the title of the workshop held on the second day of “Bio in Sicily”. Very interesting topic especially after the Coronavirus. The lessons were held by Giusi Carioto, tourism services technician, experiential tourism expert, TEDTRIP Project Manager “How to sell tourism services online, the local portal or the marketplace”; Matteo Fici, teacher and ICT expert and Administrator of Assoprovider “The logic of online multi-channel and management systems to implement it”; Tommaso Di Matteo, CEO of CPW Italia “Companies and strategies for export” and Giuseppe Urso – Marketing Manager “Food Online: e-commerce, platforms for the sale of products”.
